about
I wasn't going to post this, but I made a cover for my niece and nephew for Christmas and they wanted a song called "Flat Head" about not jumping on the bed, and I couldn't think of anything that fit that better than Alestorm's "Wooden Leg"!
Artwork by yours truly!
With apologies to sausages and Chris Bowes
lyrics
I'm a good kid, I like to have fun
I draw on the sidewalk with my chalk in the sun
I drink all my juice, I always say please
And I never have dirt on my hands or my knees
But sometimes my mom, makes me so mad
I go up to my room 'cause I'm really bad
I jump onto my bed, but can you believe?
I fell off my bed and started to scream!
Mommy, I fell down and flattened my head!
F-L-A-T flat head!
I've got a flat head, flat head!
F-L-A-T flat head!
I've got a flat head, flat head!
Well now my head is really flat
But I don't have a problem with that
So I play with my toys, and watch tv
And still I say thank you and please
But then I play pretend with my friends
We jump up on the bed 'til our playdate ends
I show them all my ninja skills
When suddenly I slip and take a spill!
Daddy, I fell down and flattened my butt!
F-L-A-T flat head!
I've got a flat head, flat head!
F-L-A-T flat head!
I've got a flat head, flat BUTT!
